LINCOLN SQUARE — Whether you plan your meals five minutes or five weeks in advance, we've got food and drink options for you to enjoy around the neighborhood.

Three for all: How do you improve on perfection? Bread & Wine took the combo of a burger and beer and turned it into a flight — three sliders and three beers for $22 every Thursday night. Past flights have included brews from 21st Amendment Brewery and Haymarket, and the burgers have ranged from grass-fed beef to buffalo lamb to country-fried steak. 3732 W. Irving Park Rd.

Have a night out on Eats & Sweets: The bakery/cafe's new owners promised to place a greater emphasis on "eats," and they're making good on their word. Swing by this Saturday or Sunday for a $30 prix fixe meal for two. The menu includes salad, summer vegetable pasta and a lemon ricotta cookie dessert. Gluten-free and vegan options available. 5-8 p.m., 1636 W. Montrose Ave.

Bombs away at Rocks Northcenter: July is more than half over, which means you've blown more than half your chances to order Rocks Northcenter's burger of the month, the "Bomb Diggity." What makes it so explosively tasty? An eight-ounce patty topped with shreddded chihuahua cheese, red onion, bacon mayo and dill relish, that's what. And it's served on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. Available daily through July 31, $12, 4138 N. Lincoln Ave.

A pop-up tour of Italy: Take your taste buds on a tour of Italian summer cuisine at a pop-up dinner from chef Dawn Wilson, who's trying out recipes for her forthcoming restaurant, Caffé Villaggio. The four-course meal features the classic Italian pork dish porchetta, plus handmade ravioli stuffed with snow crab. Cost is $65 per person or $95 with wine pairings. Tickets can be purchased online. The pop-up will be held at 7 p.m., July 30, Brix Catering and Events, 1463 W. Leland Ave.

Doubly good at half the price: Marie's Pizza, 4127 W. Lawrence Ave., is one part restaurant, one part liquor store. Combine the two and you get a Groupon for pizza and beer (or wine flights). Choose between two options: $16 for one large thin crust pizza and a pitcher of beer or $29 for two thin crust pizzas and two pitchers of beer. Click here for the offer.

Not just for tourists: Chef and food writer Susan Pachikara is expanding her Cardamom Kitchen tours to Lincoln Square. Out-of-towners and residents alike will appreciate stops along her planned two-and-a-half-hour route. Enjoy tastings at Gene's Sausage Shop, Savory Spice Shop, the Chopping Block and Flirty Cupcakes. Tours start July 24. Tickets are $65 and must be purchased in advance online.

That'll leave a sour taste, in a good way: Fountainhead is turning over its rooftop taps to feature Destihl Brewery's sour drafts, including rarities like a sour pale ale and a lambic-style sour ale with strawberries. Some of the beers won't be available again at Fountainhead outside of this event. The complete list of tappings is available online. 7-11 p.m., July 23, 1970 W. Montrose Ave.
