CHICAGO — The Dan Ryan will see lanes closed and traffic diverted overnight and in the early morning during three upcoming phases.

The temporary changes are the result of ongoing construction on the Englewood Flyover, which opened in the fall, according to an IDOT news release.

Inbound changes are in effect midnight to 7 a.m. Saturdays into Sundays and midnight to 5 a.m. all other days. Outbound changes are in effect 1-7 a.m. Sundays and 1-6 a.m. all other days.

The changes:

July 18-20: Inbound traffic reduced to one express lane between 71st and 63rd streets. The ramps from the Skyway to the Dan Ryan will be closed. Skyway drivers will be moved to the State Street exit and then north on State Street to 55th Street and west on 55th Street to the Dan Ryan.

July 25-31: Inbound and outbound express lanes will be closed. Drivers will use the local lanes.

Aug. 1-7: Outbound local lanes will be closed between 55th and 69th streets. Drivers will be moved to the outbound express lanes. Entrances to the outbound Dan Ryan will be closed at 47th, 55th and 63rd streets. Drivers will be able to enter the outbound Dan Ran at 43rd and 67th streets. Traffic to the Skyway from the express lanes will be maintained with stops.
