UPTOWN — Looking for some affordable, family-friendly activities this weekend?

You're in luck: This weekend marks the fourth installment of Uptown Saturday Nights, a series of free events held the second Saturday of every month to showcase the neighborhood as an entertainment district.

Beginning at 2 p.m., take an hour-long, one-mile walking tour to learn more about Uptown's history. Tour-goers should meet at Shake, Rattle & Read, 4812 N. Broadway. Tours will also be held at 3 and 4 p.m.

Then, from 4 - 5 p.m., hang out at Baker and Nosh, 1303 W. Wilson Ave., for storytelling and performances aimed at kids.

The last stop will be held at Crew Bar and Grill, 4808 N. Broadway, where '80s alternative cover band, dec8de, will be playing new wave and British pop jams from the likes of Duran Duran and The Cure.

All events are free and open to the public.
