CHICAGO — Authorities are investigating after a body was found in the rubble of a fire in a Dunning garage, police said.

Around 8:10 p.m., police and firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 6300 block of West Berenice Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

After the fire was distinguished a body was found. Police are pursuing a death investigation, Estrada said.
