HYDE PARK — If you like roast beef and the Grateful Dead, you're in luck, because there may be two extra tickets to the Dead's Friday show coming with your lunch at Bergstein’s N.Y. Delicatessen.

The deli, 1164 E. 55th St., is raffling off two tickets to the show at Soldier Field, but contenders need to put away some roast beef to get a shot at the tickets.

Patrons get one entry into the raffle for each “Deadhead” sandwich ordered. The sandwich is a “Shakedown Street” grilled cheese stuffed with "magic" mushrooms, a “Ripple” of roast beef, a “Touch of Grey” Poupon and cheddar with a “Spoonful” of shredded asiago.

That looks to be four Dead references crammed into one sandwich, but what do expect when the chef looks a little like Jerry Garcia himself?

Deli owner Harris Davis has been attending Dead shows since the ‘70s and claims he saw Garcia backstage at his final show — Dead fans have certainly claimed seeing a lot crazier things at shows.

Davis’ daughter, Rachel, who is also a Deadhead and who is head chef at the deli, was lucky enough to get mail-order tickets and is passing them on to one lucky patron.

The drawing for the tickets will be Wednesday.
