OLD TOWN — Some of the world's top slam dunkers will be putting on a show Saturday afternoon in Old Town.

The 7-Eleven City Slam Dunk contest will be held in Seward Park from 2 to 4 p.m.

The event, which will air next month on ESPN2 will be a semi-final for a championship dunk contest in Los Angeles.

Celebrity judges include Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, Chicago Bulls small forward Doug McDermott and Chuck Millan, founder and CEO of Team Flight Brothers.

Participants include: Isaac “Sir Isaac” White, the 2014 City Slam/D.C. champ who previously played with Harlem Globetrotters; Jared “Desert Flight” Roth, the 2014 City Slam/LA runner-up who set highest vertical jump at 64 inches; Steve Harris, who has a 46” vertical and has never lost a dunk competition; and Antjuan Ball, the national high school dunk contest champ who was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10 in February.

If the event is rained on, dunkers will move to the gym at Seward Park, 375 N. Elm St.
