Memory Support Group At Smith Village Discusses 'ABCs of Alzheimer's'

MORGAN PARK — The memory support group at Smith Village will discuss the “ABCs of Alzheimer’s” at 6:30 p.m. July 7.

The retirement community at 2320 W. 113th Place in Morgan Park will host the hour-long presentation, which includes a film for families and friends of people with dementia.

Diane Morgan, memory support coordinator at Smith Village, will lead the discussion as well as share statistics and risk factors. Attendees will learn the stages of the dementia, what to expect and the behaviors that are a form of communication.
