CHICAGO — Police are warning CTA passengers after a woman was sexually assaulted on a Blue Line train in the Loop earlier this month.

The 22-year-old woman was on a southbound Blue Line train on the 100 block of West Congress Parkway (between Jackson and LaSalle stops) on June 15 around 6:15 p.m., police said in a statement Friday.

A man sitting next to her touched her inappropriately, police said. When she got off the train, the man followed her up the escalator at LaSalle, then ran back down to the platform and boarded a different southbound train.

The man is described as Hispanic with a light complexion, 45-55 years old, 5'08" to 5'09" tall, police said. He had a slender build and a bald head at the top.
