WICKER PARK — Veruca Salt, White Fence, Blonde Redhead and other acts will entertain some 70,000 revelers expected to flock to Wicker Park Fest, which will feature a Wild Turkey tour bus and a full music lineup of 35 bands.

Set for noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday along Milwaukee Avenue between Paulina Street and North Avenue, this year’s fest offers three stages of music, a children’s fun area open from noon to 6 p.m. daily, an arts section and dozens of food and merchandise vendors.

There is a $5 suggested donation for entry to benefit the main sponsor, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce. Free bike parking will be available and well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted.
