Cyclist Dies After Being Electrocuted at Blue Line Station, Police Say

CHICAGO — A bicyclist died after being a electrocuted at the Kedzie-Homan Blue Line Station early Tuesday morning, police said.

Around 4:45 a.m., the man was seen riding his bike near the third rail at the station at 530 S. Kedzie Ave. when he was electrocuted, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Pacheco said. She did not know his age.
