DOWNTOWN — Hawks fans who struck out on tickets to Thursday's free Blackhawks rally can party at the Hilton instead.
The Palmer House Hilton, located on the parade route at 17 E. Monroe St., will serve a special "power play menu" with $10 "Toewser" cocktails and other specials Thursday. The hotel will show the Blackhawks parade and rally on TVs throughout its lobby.
There will be no cover charge. Here's the full menu:
Power Play Menu:
• Burgers with fries ($12): red onion, cheddar, Dijon aioli, pickle, brioche
• Chicken or beef tacos ($10): salsa verde, cilantro, onion, white corn tortilla
• Chicken wings ($6 for six or $12 for 12): bbq spice, blue cheese dressing, butter hot sauce
• Fried cheese curds ($8): tempura, togarashi
• French fries ($5)
• The Toewser ($10): Absolut Vodka, PAMA (pomegranate liqueur), orange juice, cranberry juice, ginger Ale
• Bud Light ($4)
• Imported beers ($6)
