Mount Greenwood Loves Country Music While Stones Top Eclectic Beverly Mix

BEVERLY — Ever had one too many drinks and thought the jukebox was spying on you?

Well, such suspicious bar patrons aren't entirely wrong. TouchTunes, a digital jukebox company, has hundreds of machines across Chicago and shared a year worth of information with DNAinfo.com.

The result is an interactive map showing the favorite jukebox tunes by neighborhood throughout the city from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015.

Most neighborhoods have at least one TouchTunes machine. And the company's online jukeboxes on the far Southwest Side are tasked with playing a wide range of music.

The Rolling Stones' "Beast Of Burden" tops the list of requested songs in the 60643 ZIP code. This area includes portions of Beverly and Morgan Park between 87th Street and 119th Street. The area is largely defined as being between Western Avenue and Halsted Street.

Jukebox users demand a rather eclectic musical mix here, which includes classic rock, pop songs from Taylor Swift and even the Irish favorite "Galway Girl" by Steve Earle.

Music lovers in this area seem to prefer country music as Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Garth Brooks are all in the Top 10.
