CHICAGO — A teen was killed and six people were wounded in shootings across the city since Wednesday morning, police said.

Around 8:35 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot to death in Bridgeport.

Most recently, two people were shot in Chicago Lawn. Around 12:30 a.m., the two men were sitting in front of a home in the 3000 block of West 64th Place when someone fired shots at them, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A 36-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and a 34-year-old man was shot in the hip. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where their conditions were stabilized, Cooper said.

Around 8:38 p.m. a 32-year-old man was shot in the stomach while walking in the 9400 block of South Princeton Avenue in Roseland. He was taken to Roseland Hospital in critical condition, Cooper said.

Around 6 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the 1200 block of West 71st Place. He was struck in the back and taken to Christ in serious condition, Cooper said.

Witnesses saw a red car speed away from the scene, Cooper said.

Earlier Wednesday, an 18-year-old man and 22-year-old man were shot in separate incidents.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings.
