BRIDGEPORT — The children of the First Lutheran Church of the Trinity want to go to summer camp in Wisconsin — but they need your help to get there.

You can help by picking up some of their art on Thursday. That's when hundreds of ceramic bowls created by local artists and children will go on sale at the church's "Art Bowl." From 6:30-9:30 p.m., you can snag one bowl for $20 or two bowls for $30.

You can find the church at 643 W. 31st St.

All money raised will go to First Trinity Kid’s Activity Fund, which aims to send children who normally would not have the opportunity to attend summer camp to Lutherdale Bible Camp in Wisconsin.

Some of the bowls came from a collection of artists at the Lillstreet Art Center, 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave., and others came from neighborhood kids.

After buying a bowl, you can have soup or chili made by local foodies. There will be vegetarian and vegan options.
