CHICAGO — One person has been killed and another nine have been wounded in shootings throughout the city since Monday morning.

Master G. Roberson, 23, of the 1400 block of North Linder Avenue, was fatally shot in the head and chest around 2:25 p.m. Monday afternoon in Humboldt Park.

In North Lawndale, another 23-year-old man was shot in a restaurant in the 3400 block of West Roosevelt Road at 1:29 a.m. Tuesday. The man was in the restaurant when several men walked and opened fire, striking the man in the buttocks, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, Cooper said.

Less than an hour earlier, a 58-year-old man was shot in the left hip and right buttocks. Officers found the man on the sidewalk in the 4400 block of West Lexington Street in Austin at 12:43 a.m., Cooper said.

Earlier Monday, seven people were shot across the city, including a 22-year-old woman wounded in Chatham and two men wounded in separate shootings in Rogers Park.

Over the weekend, seven people were fatally shot and another 26 were wounded in shootings.
