CHICAGO — Police are cautioning residents after two schools were burglarized in North Center and Uptown.

In each incident, burglars entered school buildings after hours, causing damage and taking electronics, police said in a statement.

The most recent incident occurred sometime between 3 p.m. May 22 and 7:15 a.m. May 26 in the 4400 block of North Magnolia Avenue. The other incident occurred 1:30-10 p.m. May 16 in the 2500 block of West Addison Street, police said.

In the Addison incident, four people were seen riding BMX-style bicycles.
