UPTOWN — Police are warning Uptown and North Center residents of people robbing schools.
The offenders enter the schools after hours, taking electronic items and causing damage. The offenders of a burglary in North Center were described as four people riding BMX-style bikes.
The burglaries occurred:
• Between 1:30 and 10 p.m. March 16 in the 2500 block of West Addison Street
• Between 3:30 p.m. and 7:15 a.m. May 22-26 in the 4400 block of North Magnolia Avenue
