West Pullman Man Charged With 2014 Murder, Police Say

WEST PULLMAN — Burundi A. Martin, 25, of West Pullman, has been charged in the October 2014 shooting death of 20-year-old Tony McIntosh.

McIntosh, of South Deering, was standing outside his home in the 10600 block of South Yates Avenue at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 3 when a man walked up and shot him in his head and arm, police said.

McIntosh was taken to Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Martin was charged with murder after being identified as the person who shot McIntosh. He was arrested 10:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.

At the time of McIntosh's death, police said the incident might have been gang-related because McIntosh was a documented gang member.
