CHICAGO — Police are warning Lincoln Park residents to be aware of their surroundings after two men tried to lure two girls into their van on Friday.
Around 4:20 p.m., the two men in a white van motioned two girls towards their van in the 300 block of West Webster Avenue, police said.
The girls ran away and the two men fled, police said.
One of the suspects was a white man in his 20s with brown straight hair wearing goggles. The other was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s with brown hair, police said.
Police described their car as "a white van with four windows."
