CHICAGO — Seven people were wounded in shootings since Monday morning.
Most recently, a 20-year-old man was shot in his right leg in Garfield Park.
Around 9:10 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of West Gladys Avenue when someone opened fire ,striking him in his right leg, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai, where his condition was stabilized, Estrada said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
Around 7:45 p.m., two people were shot on the border of Irving Park and Albany Park.
Four people were also wounded in shootings Monday afternoon including a 25-year-old shot in Auburn Gresham and a 17-year-old boy shot in West Englewood. A 15-year-old boy was also shot outside a Walgreens in Logan Square and a 17-year-old boy was shot during a drive-by shooting in Rogers Park.
