LINCOLN PARK — Have you ever wished you could do your entire week's shopping at a farmer's market?

That's usually not possible for families looking to pick up essentials, but now there's a solution.

Treasure Island Foods is launching a summer farmers market at two Chicago locations, allowing the best of both worlds.

The farmers markets will be held weekly outside the grocery stores and will include produce from local farms, specialty foods, music and eats from food trucks.

The "Urban Islander Farmers Markets" will be held at the Lincoln Park store, 2121 N. Clybourn Ave., on Wednesdays and at the Lakeview store, 3460 N. Broadway, on Thursdays.

Both will be held from 3-8 p.m. starting May 13 and running through Oct. 1.

Participating vendors include: Bennison’s Bakery, Black Garlic North America, Bruges Brothers, C&D Family Farms, Dönermen, Fannie Schmoe’s Bakery, Farmed Here, Demicubes, Gretta’s Goats, Great Lakes Clinical Trials, Goodness Greeness, Haute & Ready, Gotta B Crepes, Jake’s Country Meats, Locally Laid, Ludwig Farmstead Creamery, Phoenix Bean, Pinch Spice Market, Raw Juice Guru, Sharpening by Dave, Wirtz Beverage Group, Yum Dum Truck, The Jibarito Stop and The Meatloaf Bakery.
