LINCOLN PARK — Here's your chance to stroll the halls of multimillion dollar mansions and imagine yourself at home, at least for a day.

The annual City Style House Tour on May 17 will offer a peek at luxury living during a tour of five one-of-a-kind Lincoln Park mansions.

The cost of exploration comes at a price, $150, but that includes a catered reception at BOKA, 1729 N. Halsted St. before the tour.

This year's tour includes an eclectic group of custom-designed homes including a 8,475 square-foot home that merges the look of an English country estate with industrial metalwork.

"This year's collection of homes has got to be among the best that the tour has ever brought together in the tour's 27-year span," said Bob Wheatley, who runs the tour.

The tour is presented by the Chicago City Day School Parents Association and all proceeds benefit the school.

"It's not every day that you get the opportunity to walk into a private residence like this and see it from the top to bottom," Wheatley said. "These homes are just wildly amazing."
