Dunning Man Charged With Robbing Austin Liquor Store

CHICAGO — A 44-year-old man is facing several felony charges after robbing a liquor store and convenience store, police said.

Around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Juan Flores, of the 3000 block of North Harlem Avenue in Dunning, robbed a liquor store in the 3800 block of North Avenue in Austin, police said.

During the robbery, Flores also pushed a 79-year-old to the ground, police said.

Police said Flores also robbed a convenience store in the 2700 block of North Harlem Avenue in Montclare around 9:12 p.m. Jan. 3, police said.

Flores is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated battery of a victim over 60 and robbery, police said.

He is expected to appear in bond court Monday.
