CHICAGO — Police are cautioning residents after a series of armed robberies at gas stations in East Garfield Park.

In the four incidents, several armed men approached the victims in a gas station and stole vehicles, cellphones, cash and credit cards, police said in a statement.

The most recent robbery at 12:56 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of South Sacramento Boulevard. Another robbery was reported in the same location at 9:20 a.m. April 9. The other robberies happened at 2:20 a.m. and 11:13 p.m. Sunday and in the 600 block of South Independence Boulevard.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call police at 312-744-8263.
