WEST ENGLEWOOD — Learn how to hula on May 8.

The Hula School of Chicago is coming to the West Englewood Library, 1745 W. 63rd St., from 1-2 p.m to help celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Hula is a Hawaiian dance that expresses the senses like sight and sound.

The school specializes in the classical or ancient dance of hula. Instructors also teach modern styles.
