Woman Found Strangled in Logan Square Identified: Report

CHICAGO — A 58-year-old woman strangled in Logan Square has been identified, officials said.

Bernadette Glomski, of the 2500 block of West Moffat Street was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office on Monday.

According to the Tribune, officials released her name Monday in hopes of finding her family.

On April 15 at 5:45 p.m., the 58-year-old woman was found dead in the 2500 block of West Moffat Street, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, Glomski was strangled and her death was ruled a homicide.

Previously, Glomski's identity was being withheld until next of kin had been notified.
