NORWOOD PARK — Teens and their parents struggling to figure out how to use the Internet safely can attend a seminar set for 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Taft High School.
Melissa Hemzacek, an Internet safety specialist in the high-tech crimes bureau in the Illinois Attorney General’s office, will discuss how families can navigate the digital age safely and successfully in a seminar at Taft, 6530 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Light refreshments will be provided at the seminar, which is designed for students in grades 7-12 and their parents. The event is open to all members of the community, organizers said.
