Do-Division 2015: Murder By Death, Masked Intruder Among Lineup

WICKER PARK —  Do-Division Street Fest organizers announced on Monday that Bloomington, Ind.-based Murder by Death and Madison, Wis.-based Masked Intruder will be among the first wave of bands booked for the three-day fest.

Expecting upwards of 60,000 revelers, the popular fest, set for May 29-31, takes place along Division Street, between Ashland Avenue on the east and Leavitt Street on the west.

Along with two stages of live entertainment booked by Chicago's Empty Bottle and Subterranean bringing some 30 bands total, Do-Division Fest also offers a sidewalk sale, a Fashion Fest and a separate Family Fun Fest with train rides, craft tents and more.

The "Wave 1" bands are as follows. More bands and stage times will be shared in future releases.

Fest hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday; noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Family Fest is open from noon to 6 p.m. p.m. Friday and Saturday only.

There is a $5 optional donation for admittance to the fest. Proceeds will benefit the West Town Chamber of Commerce; Division Street Committee; Pritzker School, 2009 W. Schiller St; LaSalle II Magnet School, 1148 N. Honore St. A third school beneficiary will be announced soon.
