Police Warn Brighton Park Residents About Robberies

CHICAGO — Police are investigating a series of robberies that occurred this month in Brighton Park. 

The incidents, in the 4700 block of South Talman Avenue on March 7 and 2500 block of West 39th Place on Friday, both involved men and a dark-colored minivan, according to police.

Victims were approached by two or three robbers who either showed or implied a gun or weapon before robbing the victims.

Two of the robbers were described as men, one approximately 5-foot-2, black and weighing 100 pounds, and the other thought to be between ages 20-30, 5-foot-10, 150-160 pounds and Hispanic with a facial tattoo. The other robber is believed to be a Hispanic woman, but no further description was immediately available.
