'I Hate You All Equally' is Rahm's Mom-Inspired Comeback to Reporter

By Mark Konkol | March 26, 2015 11:50am

Rahm Emanuel's mother, Martha, taught him many things, including good one-liners.

Chicago's mayor sat down with DNAinfo's Mark Konkol this week to talk neighborhoods — and Konkol couldn't resist jokingly asking him why he trades Christmas gifts with other writers in town, but he doesn’t seem to like Konkol all that much.

“I’m going to be clear," the mayor responded. "I used to tell my mother, ‘You love [brother] Zeke more than you love me.'

"You know what she said? ‘I hate you all equally.’”
