Police Warn Residents After Series of Burglaries in Chicago Lawn

CHICAGO — Police are warning residents after a string of burglaries in Chicago Lawn.

In the five incidents, the burglars entered the garage and took property, police said in a statement.

The most recent burglary happened March 10 at 3 p.m., in the 7100 block of South Washtenaw Avenue. The other burglaries occurred March 9 at 7 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Francisco Avenue; March 4 at 6:45 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Rockwell Avenue; March 3 at 2 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Fairfield Avenue, and another on the same day at 7 a.m. in the 7000 block of South California Avenue.
