LINCOLN SQUARE — Let's face it, sometimes cycling is a pain in the neck.

Literally.

Like any form of exercise, cycling causes its share of aches and pains, from cramped backs to tight shoulders to sore calves.

Bloom Yoga, 4663 N. Rockwell St., is offering a "yoga for cyclists" workshop aimed at relieving the stiffness and tension that can result from spending hours hunched over handlebars.

No previous yoga experience is necessary. While the workshop is designed for cyclists — whether competitive, recreational or commuter — runners and other athletes can also benefit from the sessions.

The workshops are scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m., March 11 and 18. Cost is $40, with a $5 discount for those who register at least three days in advance. Drop in for a single session for $20.
