CHICAGO — Three men were wounded in separate shootings Sunday including a 25-year-old man shot on the border of Portage Park and Belmont Cragin.
Around 9:40 p.m., the 25-year-old man was in a car in the 3200 block of North Cicero Avenue when a man in another car pulled alongside him and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man drove himself to Norwegian American Hospital after being shot in his shoulder, but he was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Sedevic said.
The man is a documented gang member, Sedevic said.
Around 1 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in his right leg while in the 10500 block of South May Street in Washington Heights on the Far South Side, Sedevic said.
The 22-year-old was taken to Christ Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Sedevic said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
Around 5 a.m., a 57-year-old man was shot in his mouth during a possible robbery in Auburn Gresham.
