CHICAGO — A man was struck and killed by a Metra train Monday evening, Metra officials said.
At 5:39 p.m., Metra Electric train No. 705 struck a man in his mid-20s south of 95th and Cottage Grove, said Michael Gillis, a Metra spokesman.
Originally, Metra officials believed the person hit was a juvenile.
No other information regarding the incident, but trains are operating again with some delays.
