CHICAGO — St. Therese Chinese Catholic School will hold its annual Chinese New Year Benefit in Armour Square, school officials announced.

The banquet-style dinner will be held at Furama Restaurant, 2828 S. Wentworth Ave., on March 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

The Chinese New Year festivities will include school performances, taiko drummers, a silent auction, and raffle drawings.

Tickets range in price from $45 for children under 13 to a $6,000 "Blue Ribbon" table for 10.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward scholarships, cultural programs, and the school's state of the art technology initiatives.
