CHICAGO — Did you think February would sneak out without another round of snow?

Not so fast.

Chicago could get between 1 and 4 inches of snow this weekend, with snow starting to fall after 7 p.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

If we get more than 1.5 inches before midnight, it will be the second snowiest February on record.

We've gotten 26.4 inches so far, with the lion's share (19.3 inches) coming on Super Bowl Sunday and the overnight that followed.

It's already been the third snowiest February on record. The second worst was in 1896, when 27.8 inches fell. In 2011, 29 inches fell.

Saturday will warm up from overnight temperatures around zero to a high of 23 degrees, according to the  National Weather Service.

Bill Nelson, a meteorologist for the service, said it's unlikely we'll get enough snow before midnight to break the mark, with some of the 1 to 4 inches coming on Sunday.

The high on Sunday is expected to be 30. On Monday, the high is forecast to be 28.

On Tuesday, there's supposed to be snow, freezing rain and sleet.

Hello, March.
