Ald. Anthony A. Beale won reelection Tuesday, easily defeating three challengers.
Beale attracted 62.5 percent of the vote followed by Michael E. LaFargue with 15.8 percent. Harold "Noonie" Ward, whose life was made into a movie by Common, was last with 10.2 percent.
Beale was first elected to the City Council in 1999.
