CHICAGO — Two people were stabbed and at least nine others shot in violence across the city over the weekend, police said.

In the most recent incident, a man and woman were wounded in a stabbing Sunday night in North Lawndale.

At 8 p.m., police responded to calls of a domestic dispute in the 1800 block of South Central Park Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A 45-year-old man was stabbed in his arm and a 40-year-old woman was stabbed multiples times, Pacheco said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, the woman was listed in serious condition and the man's condition had stabilized, Pacheco said.

Two people were fatally shot in separate shootings in Uptown and Englewood, and two teenagers were wounded in gunfire Sunday.

Saturday night, a 36-year-old man and 56-year-old man were shot in Little Village.

On Friday night, two men were shot including a man waiting near a bus stop.
