CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon at a McDonald's in Brighton Park.
Around 2:45 p.m., the man was in the 3800 block of South Archer Avenue when he was approached by two men. One of the men shot him twice in his hip, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The Tribune reported the shooting was inside a McDonald's.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Zala said.
The man is a documented gang member, Zala said.
