Man with Dementia, 31, Missing from Far Northwest Side

CHICAGO — Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 31-year-old man with dementia who is missing from Jefferson Park.

Richard Chippo was last seen Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Lavergne Avenue.

Police said he suffers from dementia and has a limited mental capacity due to an injury. Chippo has mild depression, but is not thought to be a danger to himself or others, police said.

Chippo is described as a light-complected black man, 5-foot-7, 230 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos on his hands, and was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jacket, a grey coat and blue sweatpants.
