Police Warn of Garfield Park Residents of Armed Robberies

CHICAGO — Police are warning Garfield Park residents to be aware of suspicious activity in the area after two armed robberies in February.

During the incidents, two armed men entered the victims' vehicles showed a gun and took their wallet, cellphones, jackets and money, police said.

The two incidents occurred at the following times in the following locations:

• On Feb. 8 at 2 p.m., in the 300 block of South Pulaski Road

• On Feb. 15 at 7:35 p.m., in the 800 block of South Kedvale Ave.

The suspects are described as black men. One is 5-foot-6 and about 17 years old; the other is about 5-foot-10, and about 20 years old, police said.
