CHATHAM — The possibility of winning a flat screen-TV is just one perk for those who attend the free Chatham homeownership and rental resource fair on Saturday.

More than 30 vendors will be on site from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 754 E. 77th St. The event is sponsored by the Chatham Micro Market Recovery Program Advisory Council, a city initiative to encourage neighborhood development and reinvestment in 13 designated targeted areas throughout the city. Co-sponsors include the Community Investment Corporation and Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago.

Vendors will share information about available homes in Chatham. Attendees can also get information on credit repair, community projects, financing and home ownership counseling, recreational activities, energy savings and more.

A representative from First Insight Realty will be ready to give information on nearby studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. There will also be a raffle for two digital tablets. Frank Montro of Frank Montro Homes will be raffling a flat-screen TV and showing rehabbed homes for sale in the area.

Food and beverages will be available. For more information, contact Travis Kluska at Travis.Kluska@cicchicago.com.
