CHICAGO — At least three men were wounded, one critically, in separate shootings on the South and West Sides since Saturday night, police said.

In South Lawndale at 1:10 a.m., a 28-year-old man was at a gas station in the 3400 block of South California Avenue when a white SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, striking the man in his left thigh, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Pacheco said.

• Around 11:50 p.m., a 22-year-old man walked into Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, Pacheco said.

The man told police he was walking in the 6000 block of South Maplewood Avenue in Chicago Lawn, when an unknown man walked up and opened fire, Pacheco said.

• In Humboldt Park, at 10 p.m., a man, 30,  was sitting in the driver's seat of a parked car in the 700 block of North Central Park Avenue when a unknown man walked up and attempted to rob the driver, Pacheco said.

The man opened fire, striking the victim in the upper right arm. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was unknown, but police said it had stabilized.

No one is in custody for the shootings, and police are investigating.
