CHICAGO — At least three people were injured in separate South Side shootings Tuesday, including a 25-year-old woman on the South Side.

Most recently, around 6:45 p.m., someone shot a 25-year-old woman inside a business in the 6300 block of South King Drive in Park Manor, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman. Pictures of the scene show the shooting took place near a McDonald's.

An employee at the McDonald's at 6355 S. King Dr. immediately disconnected the call when a DNAinfo Chicago reporter called the fast food restaurant seeking further information.

The woman suffered from a graze wound to her face, Sweeney said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she's listed in good condition, he added.

She was not the intended target, police said.

About an hour earlier, someone shot a man, 26, in Morgan Park.

The shooting happened in the 1300 block of West 112th Street, Sweeney said. Someone from inside a car opened fire, striking the 26-year-old in his buttocks, he said.

The man was taken to Christ Hospital in stable condition, Sweeney said.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.

Earlier, at 1:37 p.m., someone shot an adult man, whose exact age was unknown, in the 600 block of East 51st Street in Bronzeville, according to Sweeney.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound in his head, Sweeney said. He is listed in critical condition.

No further information was immediately available.
