CHICAGO — A 12-year-old boy was struck by a CTA bus Wednesday night while chasing a dog into the street.
Around 7:25 p.m., the boy was in the 1400 block of West 79th Street when he ran after a dog into the street and was struck by an eastbound CTA bus, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.
No tickets were issued.
