CHICAGO — A man was wounded after being shot multiple times on Friday in Roseland.
At 11:45 a.m., a 24-year-old man was in the 10400 block of South Michigan Avenue when he was shot in his leg, hand and face, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman, citing preliminary information.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, Estrada said.
According to police, the man is a documented gang member and investigators believe the shooting is gang related.
