Storytellers Head 'South for the Winter' at January Story Club

BRIDGEPORT — Story Club South Side returns in January with tales from those who are ditching the winter doldrums.

The theme for the monthly Bridgeport storytelling jam is "South for the Winter" and will feature four professional storytellers and two open mic slots for anyone who wants to get on stage.

The session takes place Tuesday at Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St. Open mic sign-up begins at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. 

Scheduled to appear are playwright Tanise Robnette, producer Lawrence "Binkey" Tolefree, journalist BoKeen and Andrew Krzak

Suggested donation for entry is $10. The event is BYOB.
