JEFFERSON PARK — For the second time in two weeks, police warned of a spate of burglaries on the Far Northwest Side.

Five homes have been burglarized in recent weeks, police said Monday. Last week, police said seven homes had been burglarized during the holidays.

In most of the incidents, the burglars entered the homes through doors and windows and took cash, electronics and jewelry, police said.

The incidents happened in the:

• 5600 block of North Central Avenue between 5:30-8:45 p.m. Dec. 24
• 5000 block of West Carmen Avenue between 9 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. Dec. 30
• 4400 block of North Lamon Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 1
• 5000 block of West Windsor Avenue between 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 5
• 5500 block of West Wilson Avenue between 2 p.m. Jan. 4 and noon Jan. 6
