CHICAGO — Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Back of the Yards Sunday evening.
The 24-year-old man was shot three times in the 4500 block of South Paulina Street about 6:45, police said.
He was standing outside when someone inside a red SUV fired shots at him. The man was struck twice in the abdomen and once in the upper thigh, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital. Police did not know his condition, but said it was stable.
The man is a documented gang member, police said. No more information was available.
