JEFFERSON PARK — The Jefferson Park Neighborhood Association will host a debate between the four candidates in the 45th Ward aldermanic race at the Copernicus Center on Jan. 21.
The debate, also sponsored by Nadig Newspapers, is scheduled to run from 7-9 p.m. and include remarks from Ald. John Arena (45th), Michelle Baert, Michael Diaz and Chicago Police Lt. John Garrido. Following the debate, an hour-long informal session will allow attendees to speak with the candidates one-on-one.
Free parking is available at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave.

The 45th Ward includes Jefferson Park, Old Irving Park and parts of Portage Park Gladstone Park and Forest Glen.
A debate hosted by the Old Irving Park Association, Portage Park Association and the Greater Independence Park Association is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at Irving Park Baptist Church, 4401 W. Irving Park Road. The Chicago Tribune's Eric Zorn is scheduled to moderate the debate.
